I tried to connect from an Ipad downstairs, I got good signal but cant join the dd-wrt network. I would assume that the hard reset will bring the username and pass to root/admin. On another instance I had a blinking power light, ports lit and wireless not lit. On other instances I've had power light lit, ports are always lit(the ones connected 1&4). Lights on the router(this has changed through every hard reset) at this time I have port 1(ethernet to this laptop) and port 4(internet from the dlink) on and blinking and wireless solid. I tried to connect the wrt-150N directly to the modem and tried to access directly instead through the dlink, I connected the modem to the WAN on the 150N and nothing. On a side note, I am getting a dd-wrt wireless signal from the 150N router but when I use my smartphone to connect to this wifi it says "unable to join the network "dd-wrt". I tried putty SSH, typed 192.168.1.1 and I get a Putty Fatal error Connection refused.
#Cant access dd wrt v24 administration password#
I downloaded putty and tried telnet, again typed 192.168.1.1 and did all combinations of username/pass and got an incorrect password everytime. I have pinged the 150N 192.168.1.1 and i get a decent reply ttl 64. I have done several hard reset(30-30-30) just like instructed on the peacock announcement before and after. The wrt-150 is another story,I tried thru 3 different web browsers and typed 192.168.1.1, it asks for a username and pass, I have tried all combinations below I have a LAN-LAN setup, ethernet cable from dlink port 3 is going to WRT-150 ethernet port 4. To make story short, I am visiting my folks, we have a router downstairs(dlink(no firmware mod) and I am trying to cascade the 150N(dd-wrt) so I can get some wifi upstairs(thank concrete walls in south america).
#Cant access dd wrt v24 administration how to#
So here is what I have, a linksys 150N v1.1, the dd-wrt was done in 2009, I would presume the latest, my apologies, I tried to look for some instructions on how to get the version but couldn't find it.

I apologize if I am posting on the wrong place, 2 days ago my post was deleted, my fault, I should have read the announcements, I have read for 2 days the announcements, im telling you, this is some thick literature for someone that doesn't have much experience.
